PKO Bank Polski has supported many educational and cultural initiatives for children and youth, but the International Young Audience Film Festival Ale Kino! is among the truly exceptional ones. It is not only a cultural event, but also an intergenerational forum, which brings together parents, grandparents, children and grandchildren, but most importantly, school students.
PKO Bank Polski is the only bank in Poland to implement a comprehensive educational programme aiming at promoting the culture of saving, as well as teaching entrepreneurship and budget management from an early age. The PKO Junior and school savings banks (SKO) initiatives are directed to children under the age of 13. The SKO programme operates in primary schools and covers education in such fields as the culture of saving, the basics of banking, economy, ecology, road safety and healthy nutrition. The PKO Junior offer includes such elements as personal account, debit card and banking service, allowing children to learn practical skills, e.g. how to pay online, initiate transfers or use an ATM, all in a form that is attractive and understandable to young recipients. The programmes allow children to acquire practical knowledge and skills that will prove extremely useful in their adult life.
We know that young people are curious about the world and people around, and Ale Kino! Festival offers a whole spectrum of new experiences. The Festival educates, inspires and opens minds, which is why we are truly delighted to support this valuable event for the fifth time.
We wish you an amazing and creative time!
