Fabian teaches cultural education in childhood at Fliedner University of Applied Sciences Duesseldorf and heads the master’s programme “Culture – Education – Participation. Art and Pedagogy in Early Childhood”. He studied art education and art history, holds a PhD in art education, and has been full professor at Fliedner University of Applied Sciences Duesseldorf since 2014. He developed Germany’s first study programme for cultural education in early childhood, and was one the founders of the Early Childhood Cultural Education Network. His research focusses on cultural education as interaction.
