Ale Kino! Pro
Ale Kino! Pro is a festival section addressed to the broadly understood film industry — both to those who are just starting their professional path and to those who have been working in the sector for many years. What unites us is a shared interest in cinema for young audiences.
For years, we have been working to support the development of film criticism focused on children’s and youth cinema, to strengthen Polish film production through the audience design programme and to organise debates and lectures open to the general public. We emphasise how multi-faceted the creation of film culture for young audiences has become today.
Ale Kino! Pro consists of:
Inspiration Day
This is a new format within the Ale Kino! Pro programme. It is a conference open to everyone interested in cinema and eager to see how diverse cinema for young audiences can be. It brings together different perspectives — filmmakers and producers, educators, as well as cinema enthusiasts. Inspiration Day is an opportunity to explore the world of films for young audiences from multiple angles and to find inspiration for further action.
Audience design
Audience design is a method of working on a film that focuses on building a strategy for reaching a specific audience group. It can be applied both at the development stage and at later stages of film distribution. The method helps creators clearly define what is most important in their film and for whom the film is being made. Since 2025, we have been developing the format of meetings and feedback sessions involving film educators, as well as focus groups of children and young people.
Film criticism workshops
Focused on an in-depth and reflective approach to cinema for young audiences.
