The feature debut of the former producer and editor is a 20-minute story about the crisis of masculinity and patriarchy. Set in the beautiful outdoor locations of Sardinia, it uses irony, but not sarcasm, to show, using the example of the relationship between a father and his teenage sons, that traditional models of being a man or a father are going away, but this does not always have to happen in a dramatic way. Humour and subtle irony help to see this tangle of conflicting patterns and rationales as part of the human experience, which can have a liberating power for all parties.
