The digital accessibility declaration was prepared based on self-assessment conducted by the Children’s Art Centre in Poznań and a digital accessibility audit conducted by the “Mili Ludzie” Foundation.

Architectural accessibility

Scena Wspólna, the venue for CSD’s artistic events (co-managed by CSD), is a single-story building.

  • There is a designated parking space for people with disabilities.

  • There is one main entrance to Scena; the doors are wide but heavy and difficult to open independently by someone in a wheelchair or on crutches.

  • The ticket office is directly opposite the entrance and near the foyer entrance – both are at an accessible height for wheelchair users or short-statured persons.

  • Hallways are wide and unobstructed (e.g. no furniture or stands).

  • Scena Wspólna has a toilet adapted for people with physical disabilities.

  • There is an emergency call system in the toilet.

  • Wheelchair users can choose any seat on the ground floor of the auditorium.

  • Benches are available in the foyer to sit while waiting for an event to start.

  • There are no high-contrast markings on glass surfaces (doors, walls).

Communication and information accessibility

  • CSD offers contact for Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals through a PJM (Polish Sign Language) interpreter – to use this service, contact via email: dostepnosc@csdpoznan.pl or via SMS or WhatsApp: +48 884 936 747. The interpreter is available on Wednesdays (5:00–6:00 PM) and Saturdays (11:00 AM–12:00 PM).

  • The ticket office staff at Scena Wspólna is fluent in PJM.

  • Some CSD events include PJM interpretation and audio description.

  • Video materials published on CSD’s social media include captions for the hearing impaired.

  • Graphics and photos on CSD’s social media include alternative texts.

  • Tickets for assistants of people with disabilities for all CSD events cost 1 PLN.

  • An induction loop is installed in the Main Stage at Scena Wspólna.

  • There is no visible floor plan of Scena Wspólna, but all areas are labeled (e.g., cloakroom, ticket office, toilet, etc.) and the staff can provide information.

  • Doors leading to the auditorium, toilets, and other spaces at Scena Wspólna have labels in Braille.

  • The CSD website currently lacks ETR texts and video recordings with information about the institution’s activities in PJM – these are planned for 2025.

If we are unable to ensure digital accessibility for the content you requested, we will offer an alternative means of access.

If our actions are unsatisfactory, you may lodge a complaint with the President of the State Fund for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons.
