Ewa Martynkien

Ewa studied German. She works as an educator, tutor, screenwriter, writer and director. Author of screenplays of popular and highly-regarded series for the youngest audience broadcast on MiniMini+ and TeleTOON+ children’s channels. She also writes books. Her children’s novel Mój Kumpel Jeremi was awarded in the Astrid Lindgren Literary Competition organised by the All of Poland Reads to Kids Foundation. In 2020, the book was included in the Golden List of the best books for children and young people. Her latest novel for children is entitled Jak zdobyć supermoce (“How to Gain Superpowers”). Ewa is currently working on a documentary film for children about the fate of a shelter doggy, Był sobie Pinki (“About Pinki”). The author lives in Wrocław. She is fascinated with dogs, cats, long walks and watching the world go by.
