Aleksandra Bielska
A native of Elbląg and a graduate of cultural studies (specialising in film studies and media knowledge) at the University of Łódź, as well as postgraduate studies in film and television production organisation at PWSFTviT in Łódź. She has participated in programmes such as Skok w Dok. Laboratorium pomysłów dokumentalnych, Kids Kino Docs, and the Pomeranian Film Workshops. She is the author of numerous film culture outreach projects, a film educator, and teaches in the Film and Audiovisual Culture Studies programme at the University of Gdańsk. On a daily basis, she works at Kino Światowid in Elbląg (within the European Meeting Centre “Światowid” in Elbląg), where she coordinates, among other things, the A. Munk Film Discussion Club (DKF im. A. Munka), film education activities, and film workshops for children and young people. She is also a city activist, involved in the cultural and social association Bez Lipy.
