Film scholar, film critic and copywriter. Author of reviews and essays on both mainstream and niche culture, and of the column series Efekty specjalne on pre-digital era fantasy cinema. Winner of the Konkurs im. Krzysztofa Mętraka. For many years he has been associated with the magazine Film and the website Filmweb (formerly), and with Dwutygodnik and the Ale Kino+ channel (currently).
