Sérgio Marques
Born in Porto in 1971, Sérgio Marques is a cultural producer, curator, and founder of Figura Nacional (2011), an association bringing together artists, educators, and cultural agents to develop original projects connecting Cinema to new audiences. Winner of the Best Producer Award 2024 and Culture Acessibility Award 2023, he leads the Inflatable Cinema, a mobile cinema traveling across Europe. He collaborates with leading Portuguese institutions and is part of the programming team of PLAY – International Children’s and Youth Film Festival.
