16-year-old Lola is given the opportunity to spend a semester studying in Germany. However, her parents are too busy looking after their older daughter, who is struggling with a mental illness. The girl doesn’t give up, seeing the trip as a chance to gain the freedom and new experiences she craves.

María Zanetti is a screenwriter and film director who has worked in the directing area with renowned directors. She also worked as a director of music videos and commercials for 10 years. In 2021 she participated with her project Alemania in the Europe-Latin America Forum of San Sebastian Film Festival and won the Artekino International Prize.
