Eleven-year-old Łukasz ends up in the care of his aunt and at a seaside guesthouse after an accident. There, he discovers that the blue door in his room leads to another world, where he faces a confrontation with the dangerous Krwawiec.

The film is based on the book of the same name by Marcin Szczygielski.
