Paulette wants to make it up to Linda for a wrongful accusation. The girl knows exactly what would make up for the injustice she has suffered and asks for chicken in peppers. However, getting the basic ingredient turns out to be more difficult than one might expect.
Sébastien Laudenbach
Director, animator and illustrator as well as teacher at EnsAD (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs) since 2001. Author of a dozen short films that have circulated in more than 80 international festivals and won numerous prizes. With his feature film The girl without hands, presented in Cannes, awarded in Annecy and finalist for the French academy awards César, Sébastien Laudenbach develops a singular, lively and moving style, with a very cost effective approach.
Chiara Malta
Chiara Malta has directed several short films, co-written or animated by Sebastien Laudenbach, from fiction to animation and documentary, and has won prizes in many international festivals. After her feature-length documentary, Armando e la politica, aired on ZDF/ARTE opening the section Lo Stato delle Cose at the Torino Film Festival, she was invited as an artist in residence at the French Academy in Rome (Villa Medici). With her last short film, she initiated a reflection on childhood, tinted with realistic magic and pagan deities.
