Film description

Early 1990s. Evie, a quiet 11-year-old girl, arrives in Cornwall excited for a holiday with her mother, Yvonne. However, it turns out they are joined by Yvonne’s friend, Tony. Family dynamics become tense and painful, as Evie feels lonely and betrayed. Soon, she meets Adam, a spiritual local boy her age. Together, they discover a disused tin mine on the outskirts of town — and in the darkness of this forgotten place, they find more than they expected.
