Teenager Margaux seems to have fallen into an unhealthy indifference to the world. It is only when she meets 7-year-old Sophie and a local fisherman, Joël, that she starts to see that life really can have a lot to offer.

Jenna Hasse
Jenna Hasse grew up in Switzerland and studied in Brussels, where she graduated in acting in 2014 from INSAS. In the same year she presented her first short film En Août at the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes, which then moved on to receive many awards at international festivals. She switches back and forth between acting in film and theatre and directing. Longing for the World is her first feature-length film.
