Chihiro, along with her parents, ends up in a mysterious place resembling an abandoned amusement park. Soon, her parents are magically transformed into pigs, and the girl takes a job with the evil witch Yubaba to restore them to their original form.

Hayao Miyazaki’s film has won numerous awards, including the Golden Bear at the Berlinale for Best Feature Film and the Oscar for Best Animated Feature.
