New venue for the Ale Kino! Festival

The International Young Audience Film Festival Ale Kino! is changing its location. The 43rd edition of the event will be held for the first time at the Helios S.A. cinema in Posnania. A new venue means new opportunities to connect with the best in cinema for young audiences.

This year’s edition of the Ale Kino! Festival will be different from all those that came before. After 20 years at Multikino 51, a beloved cultural hub for Poznań’s filmgoers, the festival begins a new chapter. From November 23rd to 30th, 2025, Ale Kino! will take place at the modern Helios cinema in Posnania.

The decision to relocate was prompted by the planned demolition of Multikino 51. That venue will always be part of the festival’s story and remain in our memories, but we look ahead with excitement.

Partnering with Helios opens up fresh possibilities: comfortable screening conditions, excellent image and sound quality, and all the services and amenities that Posnania has to offer. Most importantly, it means spacious screening rooms that can accommodate every cinema lover!

This year, the Ale Kino! Festival expects to welcome nearly 15,000 viewers.

We need a space where you can feel comfortable. Helios will not only host film screenings but also create space for festival meetings and conversations, both formal and informal. Additionally, as in previous years, some screenings will still take place at the Kino Pałacowe in the Centrum Kultury ZAMEK.
